• Amidst dating rumors Only Murders in the Building co-stars Meryl Streep and Martin Short stepped out for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California ahead of this weekends SAG Awards (where OMITB is nominated in the "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series" category).
• There have been rumors that the two have been dating each other for a while now, with chatter growing after October 2023 when Streep's rep announced that she and her husband, Don Gummer had been quietly separated for more than six years.
• Short denied the rumors on a podcast, claiming that the two were just very good friends.
• It was just reported last week that Streep would be returning for OMITB season 4, where she plays Short's love interest.
