Disney pairs with Sony Pictures for physical media
Disney and Sony reportedly have signed a major deal for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to take over all of Disney’s physical media production going forward.

-Disney has decided to outsource their physical media by pairing with Sony Pictures Home Media
-"This means that Sony will handle and oversee the actual authoring and compression of discs, that they’ll work with the replicators and packaging vendors, and that they’ll oversee the titles as they go out to the distributors and on to retailers."
-Disney is horrible when it comes to home media as the higher ups continually wanted final word on every home media product going out as opposed to having someone in charge of the division. With Sony taking over, that will no longer be an issue.
