Ruby Franke Sentenced to Four to 30 Years in Prison

Mormon mommy vlogger Ruby Franke, 42, broke down in tears at her sentencing for her aggravated child abuse conviction in Utah today. A judge sentenced her to serve four sentences of one to 15 years each. This means that she could spend between four and 60 years in prison. However, the cap is 30 years in prison. Her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, received the same sentence.

Utah police arrested the pair in August last year after Franke's 12-year-old son managed to escape from Hildebrandt's home, where he had been held captive and abused. Franke pleaded guilty to aggravated child abuse in December of 2023.

EDIT: The cap is apparently 30 years. Fuck that.
