George helping Ringo with OG was one of my favorite moments. And he looks so proud.

It’s so sweet.

I also was so happy to see that whenever people spoke about Ringo when he wasn’t there, it was always to say how much they loved him 🥰

Aww, this is 🥰 what songs did he write by the Beatles? I feel like I know one Beatle’s song and I didn’t like it lol.

His big Beatles song is definitely “Here Comes the Sun”.

“I, Me, Mine” I love, because it’s a waltz 🥰.

“If I Needed Someone” marks the beginning of him experimenting with Indian classical music in his compositions, and I just think it’s a very sweet underrated Beatles love song.

He wasn't a perfect being by any means but there's a couple of stories that made me love him. And his music was so good. He wrote some of the Beatle's best songs and his solo stuff was so good.

How his son Dhani found out his dad had been in TB: “I was completely unaware that he had anything to do with music,” he said. “I came home one day from school after being chased by kids singing ‘Yellow Submarine’, and I didn’t understand why. It just seemed surreal: Why are they singing that song to me? I came home and I freaked out on my dad: ‘Why didn’t you tell me you were in The Beatles?’ And he said, ‘Oh, sorry. Probably should have told you that.’”

He was stabbed at his house once by a crazy fan: "After he was stabbed in his own home and paramedics arrived, George learned that it was one paramedic’s first day on the job. As they were carrying George down stairs on a stretcher, he looked at the nervous new guy and said, “So. How is your first day on the job going so far?”

"When George was on his deathbed, Ringo had to leave George to ( ... )

i don't rly know much beatles lore beyond what my dad has mentioned (he'd put two compilation albums on on the weekends sometimes so i do know the songs off those fairly well) and this is very heartwarming, esp the last one.

One of my fave things about George is that he was the type of famous person where you could meet and chat with him without realizing who he was ( ... )

"When George was on his deathbed, Ringo had to leave George to return to his daughter, who was also in the hospital back in the states. When Ringo said goodbye, George looked up at Ringo and asked "Do you want me to come with you?" entirely sincerely."

I think about this story every time one of George's songs comes on, it's so lovely and really says a lot about who he was as a person and his relationship with Ringo
