I'm not surprised she's still doing it to this day.
I heard an artist will add or change a word, and that's enough to give them credit?

let's not forget when she ghostwrote "emotion" way back in 1977!

Didn't Taylor Swift like say she wrote for Olivia R's song when she didn't but Olivia figured it would be better to give T.S the writing credit?

The TSwift and Olivia Rodrigo thing was more related to the recent trend of claiming similarities and saying that it means the song was copying. So TSwift didn't say she wrote Olivia's song. She claimed that Olivia's song was too similar to one of Taylor's songs. It could have gone to court and Olivia might have won (these cases are pretty much universally stupid and it feels like a coin flip on who wins) and then she wouldn't have had to do anything. But Olivia also could have lost due to the coin flip nature of it all and that would have been bad for her image. So it was easier to not fight it and just give Taylor the writing credit.

The timeline goes:
- Everyone saying Good For U was a rip off from a Paramore song
- Paramore team threatened to sue
- Olivia gave them credits/publishings
- Olivia, who had HERSELF said previously Déjà Vu was inspired by Cruel Summer, also gave credits to all Cruel Summer writers
It's unclear if Taylor's team reached out or if Olivia's team decided to take precautions after the Paramore case.
