Fake Clueless sequel starring Kiernan Shipka is being advertised on Facebook
A Facebook post alleges that a Clueless sequel is coming in June 2024, starring Kiernan Shipka as the daughter of Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd's characters.
The Facebook plot summary reads:
Dive into the fabulously fun world of "CLUELESS," where Kiernan Shipka shines as Cherry, the stylish yet aimless daughter of the iconic Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Josh (Paul Rudd). As Cherry navigates life with her special edition Pink Tesla, shopping sprees, and endless hangouts, her parents concoct a charmingly quirky plan to kickstart her career in the dazzling realm of Artists and Entertainers.
The Facebook account in question is known for making movie posters for non-existent movies such as Batman Invincible, The Grinch 3, and The Land Before Time (CGI remake). AI is to blame in the rise of these fake visuals.
Alicia Silverstone spoke with Variety 3 weeks ago and said nothing about a sequel. Plus, don't you think we would have had several ONTD posts if it was true?
