See I always favored Mero a bit more cause latin bias (and you don't see a lot of afro-latinos in the media) but I've switched over to Desus cause he stood by the staff over Victor.

I get Mero wanting to cash in but it sounds like Desus was really trying to protect their brand. What Mero suggests would have made them money could have also not been successful and diluted their brand. He’s right about owning IP, but also if you sell it while it’s worth a lot you may make more than doing some shitty licensing deal.

Basically, Mero was thinking more short term about making money while they’re hot while Desus was protecting the brand.
