News broke today that Arianne Zucker (known for playing Nicole Walker on "Days of Our Lives", on and off since 1998) is filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against DAYS' production company, Corday Productions, and against the show's executive producer, Ken Corday, personally.

In her complaint, Zucker outlines several sickening instances of a hostile, sexist work environment allowed to fester under ex-EP, Albert Alarr, due to Ken Corday's lack of action - sexually charged language, inappropriate physical contact, anti-Semitic remarks, unfair wage gap between male and female co-stars, retaliatory firings and pay cuts, etc.

Zucker led the charge to get Alarr reprimanded and eventually removed from his position. In recent contract negotiations, she was given a low ball "take-it or leave it" offer hardly representative of her tenure and role on the show.

Both ex-EP Alarr and Defendant Ken Corday have issued statements essentially claiming no wrong-doing and blaming Zucker.

Reading through her complaint made me feel enraged. From the buzz going around Soap Twitter, sounds likes there's been more shitty incidents of harassment and abuse going on on that set. I hope Ari gets every penny she deserves and more. Fuck Ken Corday.
