The rumored plot of the A24 project, titled Materialists, from Celine Song (Past Lives) revolves around a high-end matchmaker in New York. She gets involved with a wealthy man, but she's torn over her feelings for the broke actor/waiter she left behind. The main cast's respective roles have not yet been disclosed.
