Last Man Standing is my mom's favourite show lmao and I agree about a lot of Family Guy jokes. I guess gross-out humour just doesn't do it for me and never will.

I watched TBBT until the end (judge me) but honestly I'm really sad they deviated from them actually being smart to nerd culture. It's probably what kept the show on air (coinciding with the launch of the MCU) but as someone who studied a science at uni, I related to the earlier series of the show.

Oh no shame, I actually finished it too. I didn't see EVERY episode, but I did get to the finale. And funnily enough the finale was nice enough that it didn't make me hate the show in the long run. Unlike goddamn How I Met Your Mother lol.

I did prefer it when it focused more on their jobs than just tacking on a laugh track if they so much as said the words Doctor Who.

Yeah and be quite widely accepted for doing it as well. I thought people would really hate her being Harley Quinn, but the show was actually good.

I never finished it, but the early seasons I saw when it was still niche I remember as being good, but I ended up feeling that things weren't going to evolve by about season 3 or so and dropped it.

TBBT is pretty much only consumable as TikTok highlight reels for me. There's good there but very little of it lol
