On Sunday, the pre-show ceremony was in full effect as winners for the non-televised categories were announced. During the Best Rap Song category segment, the live show presenters correctly announced "Scientists & Engineers" by Killer Mike featuring André 3000, Future and Eryn Allen Kane as the winner.
When it came to social media, the Recording Academy's Twitter/X account mistakenly announced the winner as "Barbie World" [from Barbie The Album] by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice featuring Aqua.
The mistake was quickly corrected, but that didn't stop Barbz from being in complete shambles and trying to get SCAMMYS to trend. Fans are convinced she was sabotaged.
