lauren's definitely had questionable takes in the past but i'm glad to see she's grown a lot recently

I have been a stan for a long time so at this point I actually expect her to have some really bad takes sometimes lol. This time is just one of the times when she's right but I fully expect her to be very wrong about something in the next few years lol

for sure, i've followed her a bit since 5h's xfactor days lol i do wish she would revisit and address the racist and controversial remarks though

I don't recall any racist stuff from Lauren like at all. Even during 5h days. I think you might be thinking about Camila.

I was referring to Lauren's anti vax stuff right when they got the vaccine in the middle of covid.

no i’m talking about her and normani filming that snap story of them doing each others nails and putting on fake vietnamese accents and talking in broken english. it was not cool and just brushed over by both of them. i know they were younger then but really wish they’d apologize for that

Lauren didn't say anything and Normani was quoting word for word a very popular skit from an asian comedian. It wasn't just mocking the accents. i understand how it looked if you didn't see the skit you might think they were being jerks but yeah I understand how it looked.

No one is apologizing for something that happened over 10 years ago and it's a very ugly stan thing that I constantly complain about when people really don't like people and want a reason to not like them. If you don't like them, just don't like them lol

huh? that is not appropriate of them to replicate like it’s a party trick, just like it would be unsavoury to recreate any other race’s accent. plus its a common for people to do racist mockings of asian and vietnamese nail salon workers in the first place so ofc it’s a sensitive issue. honestly it’s dismissive of you to claim this is comparable to stan shit from 10 years ago lol anyways as an asian woman who deals with this shit offline as well it’s just really fucking disappointing to see

Yes but i don't expect children/teens to always do the appropriate things. Sometimes children/teens do and say things they should't

You're entitled to feel that i am being dismissive but in general I feel like if i go through most people's apple music I can find at least one person who have said/done worst things that anyone they're trying to call out. Like Selena gomez stans calling out hailey bieber. Most of these people have in their apple music songs from people who have done/said way worse but they're picking and choosing to call her out because they don't like her.

So to me it's all stan nonsense and for most ppl i feel like they don't actually care about the cause at all. It feels like they just need a reason to dislike them and if you're different then that's great but i feel like 95% of people trying to call out celebs for doing something wrong especially the people trying to "call out" something that happened over 10 years ago and it's something that happened when they were teenagers fall in the 95% so
