Russia will get Bronze medal in Team Figure Skating event

The ISU sent out this new team order - USA, Japan and Russia - at 4:39 am ET. At 5:22, I emailed about their math, asking why two points weren’t added (1 in SP, 1 in LP) to the other women who would move up after Valieva’s DQ? Canada would be 3rd in that case. Still no response. pic.twitter.com/RpsG6dCgbM

Follow-up to this post.
The ISU sent out an updated ranking which put the US in 1st, Japan 2nd, and Russia in 3rd, even with Kamila Valieva’s disqualification.
People on Twitter have pointed out that the math doesn’t work and Canada should be bumped up to Bronze. There are also anti-doping rules that disqualify the whole team if one person is found doping. Skate Canada will appeal the ISU decision. So will Russia.
