Megan Thee Stallion's latest song, “HISS,” has stirred controversy for using “Megan’s law” in the lyrics. The line has drawn criticism from the family of Megan Kanka, the young girl whose 1994 abduction and murder led to the creation of a law aimed at protecting people from predators. The father of the victim's family, who recently spoke to TMZ, expressed his displeasure with the rapper for mentioning his daughter's name in her diss aimed at Nicki Minaj.
Kanka's father, Richard, who admits he hasn't heard the song but read the lyrics, called it “disrespectful and offensive.” According to TMZ, “the song left such a bad taste in his mouth that he's actually considering looking into his legal options to see if Meg's track went too far.”
