Speaking of Pokemon, I need to get out and try to get some shadow raids for Ho-Oh done. The raid community here is not very communicative and I will probably have no luck. 🥹

Unless it's the lowest level one I can't do shadow raids, they stress me out. Not that trying to beat Giovanni is much better, but at least I don't depend on other players showing up for that.

Machamp is your friend against Giovanni. Just level him or her up and go to town. The guide says counter is best but I found to be cross chop to be better because it makes him burn through his shields like nothing.

I think I need to level up my Machamp some more because last time I had to fight Giovanni my champ was down way too fast.

Mine was around 3000 before I could get him to defeat his mon if that helps. What is the rest of your team?

Oh I just got mine above 3000 so it will definitely be my starter for this events Giovanni. Since he has Kyogre this round I'll probably put my Raikou (working on maxing it out but those XL candies are hard to come byxD) at the end and probably my Swampert in the middle since it's pretty fast and level up pretty high (from what I could gather he probably has a pokemon as his second that Swampert would be pretty effective against).

I hope I got all the names right, I don't play the game in EnglishxD

Definitely, keep the Swampert. (I need to level mine up...I have been focus on Machamp for so long that I forgot some of the others). If you need a switch out, maybe Garchomp which tends to be my second. I haven't face Kyrogre in a hot second. My last fight with him was with Registeel? So, I did some research. If you are looking for none Legendary mon, Leafeon and alolan exeggutor might do the trick.

Important info: crushed him today on my second try, had to swap Swampert for Leafeon, Swampert needs a few more boostsXD

YAY! Congs! Me too! But boy, it was close one...I had a little bit of health on my egghead left but he pulled through.

It took me a few times. I had to boost my Machamp again and change the move set on my other two pokemon.

Now, like you, I'm back to fighting grunts again. >.<

I always want to yell at my pokemon to not give up when it gets close at the end, but I often play during my commute and the people on the tram would probably give me weird looks XD

I have no space for a 12km egg so I am ignoring the grunts atm XD

OMG...I yell at them by saying "don't die on me now"!!! Luckily, no one is around when I shout that. XD

I do remote raids. That is the only way that I get enough people to raid with, which sucks.

I really with Niantic would allow shadow raids to be done remotely. It's really unfair to those who live in rural areas.

The same. I have a gym right next to work and I would love to host some shadow raids but noooo....Niantic think that we know actually people that play their game. XD
