THANK GOD! My girl is FREEEEEEEE. Now, let's have her read for some premium network shows, hell, someone put Ryan Murphy on her so she can at least show her versatility for a few years before moving onto actually good projects. NEED her to book something instead of doing photoshoots in her foyer and flashing her feet on IG

no I know and I AGREE. But the goal here is to get her out there and visible to casting directors again! Let her pick up a few noms or even a win for Best Actress/Supporting Actress in a Movie or Miniseries and then she can move on to better things

I genuinely do not disagree!! I typically say a Mike White situation in SMG posts and I'd truly love that!

But Ryan picks favorites and consistently puts them in high-profile projects, and very often, the standouts win or are nominated for awards. I think it's a realistic path towards a true SMGassiance, more than Wolf Pack was. It started great with her cameo in Do Revenge, the NYT article, but it just vanished. She should have kept popping up in 2022. I'm not caught up with Yellowjackets (I know the vague details of S2) but if there was like a "What If?" episode with an adult Jackie hallucination, SMG would do great at that.

but you know SMG has been in the biz for 42 years, she's INCREDIBLY successful, an absolute icon. She's clearly in control of her own career at this point, and maybe my goals for her as a stan don't align with her own! I just truly want her out there in the zeitgeist and celebrated for work that matches the level of skill she has (which, yes, is FAR beyond anything Ryan makes).

SMG last good choice was The Grudge. After that its been none stop flops.

But she also wants LA shooting shows so she can stay with her family which is i have to begrudgingly understand. Or Georgia with her not being first on the call sheet.

I've talked about the stuff that happened with her former agency after The Grudge on here. And it was the right decision for her because she was totally disrespected, but it's true her career and what opportunities came her way took a nosedive afterward.

Yeah I really don’t see why she can’t do better than a teen show where she’s the token adult…I did give Wolf Pack a try for Sarah, and I feel bad for her that it’s been cancelled after she seemed so into it and was doing her biggest promotional push in years, but honestly it all sounded kind of lame from the beginning

There’s so many prestige shows now on streaming these days, and she would have kicked ass on something like Big Little Lies.

Sarah seems perfect for a Ryan Murphy vehicle (Crime Story, Horror Story, Feud really any of it) before she does something better so I get it.

she juuuuuust needs to dip her toe into an adult-oriented show that has some meat! an FX show, which is JUST below premium cable networks, is a great way for Sarah to flex her muscles if the career-changers of the TV world like Mike White refuse to pay attention!!
