Last night a patron jumped on stage while comedian Mark Normand was in the middle of a set. The offender was quickly escorted off stage by security but, curiously Mark was also rushed off stage after by security soon after. Employees of the club took the stage to "calm" the audience and but instead gave mixed messages first telling everyone to "stay where you are" then immediately telling everyone to "get out".

New York Comedy Club gave a statement saying it was part of a filming by a production company, but people aren't buying it since it was truly bizarre behavior that seems to have spooked the audience.
