It’s been years since I watched the show and I didn’t know she was in it.

The director doesn’t even have a Wikipedia, so he has the career he deserves!

my old boss used to yell at me at work, in front of my colleagues and even in front of the client but insisted he was just being passionate. i really empathise with claire cause when it happens you feel like a moron and you overthink it for days and the person actually being a dick doesnt even remember it happening.

anyways her performance in all of us strangers (no im not done talking about it yet) was sad and beautiful and i wish she wouldve gotten at least a nom

My old manager was a vile bitch. She was horrible to all of the staff and even made some cry on occasions. Everyone would ask “what mood is she in?” almost every day she was there, because we all dreaded her being in a bad mood (which was 90% of the time).

omg same for us! we were like "is x in a good mood today or is he mad" cause the vibe in the office/team would literally depend on how often he'd flip out

That's rough. Bad bosses can make even good jobs terrible. I once had a manager who would yell and made it clear she hated everyone but it weirdly didn't work on me because I couldn't take her seriously and I knew she needed me more than I needed her. I cared very little about that job lol so her intimidation just washed over me XD ( ... )

Another fun fact about Being Human: Andrea Riseborough was Annie in the pilot. She was replaced by Lenora Crichlow.

Strangely enough, I get her confused with Andrea. I keep thinking the award scandal that happened was about Claire.

I loved Lenora so I’m good with this recast.

That's crazy! I remember finding the unaired pilot and thinking that the cast chemistry was totally flat. The recasting was absolute magic and the show was stupid for continuously splitting them apart.

My first job at 15 was waitressing at a deli/ice cream parlor. Whenever i would screw up closing, the owner would post a piece of paper listing everything i did wrong in sharpee in the backroom for everyone to see.

On the plus side, i got paid under the table and could eat as much food and ice cream as i wanted.

Definitely unkind and unnecessary but if “start acting, darling” is the worst note she’s ever received in her career, homegirl can count herself one of the lucky ones.
