Palestinian Pop Artist Bashar Murad to compete on Iceland's Eurovision National Selection
We’re talking about Bashar Murad from Palestine, who according to RUV's, will be one of the ten artists taking part in the semi-finals of Söngvakeppnin 2024, which will start on February 17, on RÚV.
According to the Icelandic website “Visir”, Murad lives in the East jerusalem, and he tries to challenge the stereotypes that have been made against the Palestinians, with his music.
Along others, Murad has collaborated with Hatari, the country’s representatives in 2019, and he has sung in Iceland in May of the same year.
