I guess Netflix must've dropped the ball cause I think the internet hyped it up more the industry did.

He had such momentum going into awards season I’m genuinely surprised that he completely fell off (although I think Vili rightfully calling out the filmmakers for their disrespect probably put the final nail in the campaign coffin).

i think the tides definitely turned for the movie once vili spoke out, and understandably so. most of the voting body's old enough to remember the story from 30 years ago
