Hopefully this role really put him in the minds of casting directors/directors and he has more opportunities to shine.

Same. I know he’s young and blah blah but it’s about the performance and he was so subtly heartbreaking in it. Also just watched The Holdovers and sad Dominic Sessa wasn’t nominated either. Can’t believe that movie was his first credited role.

I disliked May December but thought his performance was in a class by itself - he should have been nominated.
