he had a sex scene with Kate Winslet in a 1996 movie called Jude 👀

idk it's weird like, people will just do the math looking at his filmography and there's not a lot of A list actresses he's had sex scenes with sooooo saying something like this... it's either the whole truth or he's a nasty piece of work that's so confident he won't be caught being a piece of shit

Kate wasn’t that A-list yet? although she had her first Oscar nod for Sense & Sensibility by that time and it’s 2 years before Titanic which her breakthrough.

He may have meant it as "now A list"

He mentioned it being an abuse of power though so I’m assuming, if true, she was A-list at the time?

I guess it depends on the context cause I took at a-list at the time?

I went to look at the wiki page for Jude and it has a quote of that being his fave movie of his.

I hope it's not her because I remember really liking that movie.

I would assume he meant now, bc he was p early in his career at the time too and was not acting opposite A-list anyone

True, I guess I assumed when he says it was an abuse of power, it meant because she was presumably more famous than him at the time and would be taken seriously by the crew

could be stretching the definition of "A-List" to just mean like, anyone more famous than him

I was thinking either her or Renee Zellweger in A Price Above Rubies.

there's a handful of options bc pre-Harvey means like, anything before what, 2016? 2017? but this is a good guess too

This makes the most sense to me. She would have been newly A-List due to Jerry Maguire, and it’s the only role I can think of that where he was a love interest.

That, or it’s someone that’s considered A-list across the Atlantic

I just looked up that movie after remembering I've seen it and whew, that is a lot of non-Jews playing Jews. Mrs. Maisel before its time.
