I think the song would’ve done better if he just dropped it with the video instead of releasing visuals and trying to create controversy for it.

I meant the song would’ve performed better had he dropped the single, the music video, the artwork etc all on the same day - Friday.

Instead he released clips, visuals, the artwork, etc the week ahead of time in hopes it would generate controversy and streams and it didn’t.

I think he would’ve had more streams if it was a surprise drop or if people just knew a new song was coming but didn’t know the rest.

Yeah I would never be against a pop star delivering visuals esp since my faves are so lazy sometimes!
