• White boy of the month (are the kids still using that term?) Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Priscilla, Euphoria) hosts the first SNL episode of 2024 tonight!

• The actor is the first of his Euphoria co-stars to ever host the show, and at the age of 26 he is the youngest person to host the show since Jenna Ortega hosted back in March 2023.

• Reneé Rapp is also making her debut appearance on the show tonight. The actress/singer is still probably best known for her roles in HBO Max's Sex Lives of College Girls and the movie adaptation of the Mean Girls musical which hit theaters last week.

• SNL announced their next host and musical guest lineup. Dakota Johnson (Madame Web) last hosted back in 2015. Hers was the first episode to air the week after the blowout 40th Anniversary special and well. You can tell everyone was tired.

• Justin Timberlake is making a not so triumphant return to Studio 8H. Timberlake, closely associated with the Lonely Island era of the show has not hosted or performed on SNL since 2013, though he did open the SNL 40 special in 2015 with a song and dance with Jimmy Fallon (of course he did).
