"Rap Sh!t" Cancelled at Max

After 2 seasons, the Issa Rae comedy has been cancelled. The show, currently on The Warner Bros.-Discovery streamer, had planned to have season 2 premiere in August but was pushed back to November due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The season finished December 21.

i read an article recently with the head of programming for hbo who claims that they will let canceled shows go if they can find another home, i don’t know how true that is (as in i can’t think of a show hbo cancelled that went on to be on another network) but if it is the case then that’s solid of them to do

Minx did get picked up by STARZ fairly quickly I believe after HBO cancelled it last year.

minx was less than a month from wrapping their second season (wtf hbo) when they got canned so it probably wasn't that much of a lift for STARZ to step in and get everything finished up

they fired their DEI officer last summer and that was a sign of what was coming
