The Shazam! helmer has signed a deal to direct Until Dawn, an adaptation of the PlayStation horror video game being made by Screen Gems and PlayStation Productions

Until Dawn is pretty good.

I would have preferred The Quarry but only if they brought in Brenda Song and let the characters be GAY.

this game is fun (and imo the best of all the supermassive games by a mile) but I don’t know if I see it translating to a movie. the cast does a lot of heavy lifting and I’m not sure if the fun of playing out teen slasher tropes by making choices translates into just watching them on screen.

i’ve played all of these and imo house of ashes was the only one of the dark pictures anthology i would revisit. the quarry was pretty good but some of the ending route choices are really unforgiving

This was my wish back then, that it would ever get ported to PC. Now I've watched too many playthroughs to want to play it myself anymore.

At this point a PC release is likely given all the PlayStation exclusives that have gotten them and this film.

True but all the PlayStation exclusives to PC ports have been for PlayStation Studio games, not something like this that PlayStation just financially produced but the game itself was made by Supermassive.

I loooooved playing this in the winter. I have it on PS but I wish I could play it on my ROG Ally. I bought The Quarry when it was on sale so I'll play that this summer.
