Honestly, keep it.
I said it in the Emmys post, but I have not witnessed a bigger fall off in a shows quality from one season to the other. Season 1 was so good and season 2 was absolutely terrible.

It really feels like the writers boxed themselves in. I have no idea how they intend to make this show last 5 seasons.

I just remember the excitement I felt at the end of the first season finale finding out Lottie was alive, etc. and then to get what we got in S2? Ughhhh

Plus there just feels like there is no stakes/surprises remaining. The only person who actually gets screen time that we care about thats future is unknown is Ben. Why do we care that they start munching on girls who were not in S1 and play no significant part in the show?

Ughhh, okay rant over lol
Hopefully they can somehow find their footing again, but I have my doubts.

Mari and Akilah’s fates are unknown still, and both were in season 1 (tbf Akilah was played by a different actress).

Do we care about them though? Maybe more so Akilah, but they haven’t done a very good job of building an emotional connection to the other assumed cannibal victims lol

I care about Mari in the sense that I want her to be Pit Girl lmao

But I also do care about Akilah! I’d love for her to have an adult version played by an absolute legend.

I agree. The fall off was so bad. I read somewhere that the showrunners usually do CW shows, so that might explain the drop in quality. It's a shame that they wasted such a great concept.

I think they had to extensively rewrite quickly b/c of Juliette Lewis wanting out & that really effected the quality of S2. I'm optimistic about S3.

this is where I'm at - fingers crossed!

Ugh Juliette. She’s consistent at making the worst decisions in her career.

i was so surprised they killed jackie off so early into the show and s2 proved it was a mistake, at least if they were gonna confirm van and lottie survived too. it kills all the suspense of the wilderness timeline and the adults were just do fuck all all season long

I miss Jackie. Part of me hopes we get a few pre-wilderness scenes.

Adult Lottie was so frustrating. Oooooh, a cult leader who might actually just be schizophrenic..... oR iS sHe?!

Adult Van was okay but she just felt like an extension of Taissa.

It will cheapen it if more adult yellow jackets come out of the woodwork.
