I will be watching, I'm from the UK but I'll find it. Love True Detective and some reviews have said it's one of the best pilots for a series in years.

For some reasons, I always mix Fargo and True Detective (even though I'm aware there are two wildly different shows) so I was expecting Jodie Foster to be on the Fargo s04.

Anyway, I will be watching!

I think I was too hyped for this based on the reviews. With only six episodes they’re gonna spend too much time talking about the characters backstories and not enough time on the important stuff like ghost husbands and polar bears and creepy voices.

Yeah I'll keep watching, I like the arctic horror premise, but I was disappointed after seeing all the critical praise. I think the critics got to see the entire season, so hopefully it gets better! But I honestly thought the writing and dialogue was heavy-handed and cliche...So much exposition lol, I get that they have a lot of ground to cover in the first episode though. Felt like The Thing fanfiction tbh

Yeah I thought a lot of the dialogue and characterization was unnatural. The choice of music was way too modern too, felt weird hearing Billie Eilish.

that song took me out so bad, i can't get over it lol so misplaced.

everything seemed completely unnatural from the beginning. these cops are at a research station literally sitting around using their laptops and phones doing whatever, while jodie's wandering around the facility (and nonchalantly opening temperature controlled containment areas...at a long term research station..), before deciding they 'should get to' bagging the fucking tongue on the floor? and that was just the first what, ten minutes? hoping things come together because i realllllly wanted to love this
