My sister went to the same college as her and one time she came by to give a talk or something like that and my sister got to meet her and she’s as lovely as she seems. Also tiny and incredibly beautiful.

So I hope no one comes for Julianne it’s clear this wasn’t intentional and technically she’s a boomer so

I’ll never forget - she started out early on As the World Turns. Some actresses who start on soaps and get big like to ignore their soap past but Julianne always spoke very fondly of ATWT. She even filmed a brief guest spot for an episode the last year the show was on the air. Sarah Michelle Gellar did the same for All My Children.

It’s weird to say this because she was still very young but I wonder if finding success “late” was a reason? “Safe” is prob considered her break out role and she was 34/35. Boogie Nights and Big Lebowski was shortly after.

Oh, technically i will always remember her from The Fugitive and The Hand That Rocks the Cradle lol but I feel like Safe was what made her her.

I honestly didn’t watch Benny and Joon til way later in life (and before we knew Depp was trash) and I didn’t really get the love for that movie so I’m not surprised I forgot she was in it.
