The thing about all these stories is that it doesn't even matter if they're real in that specific instance because when it involves shitty people (mostly men) there are countless people who have identical experiences.

Like there was about an abused woman and everyone kept saying it was fake, but even if it wasn't it was so incredibly close to countless stories of how abusive men act.
