I feel like every other weekend seems to happen a lot for some reason in custody arrangements, so I don't feel that surprised.

Yeah I had a great father growing up and for some reason the judge only awarded him every other weekend visits. He fought for more, but was denied. What I don’t get was my mom worked nights so I only saw her every other weekend and my dad basically had to take care of me until she came home?

That seems really sad. Also frustrating for the primary parent (typically mom) because then she's stuck with most of the tough parenting like enforcing rules, and then the every other weekend parent gets to swoop in and do fun stuff. Seems like a shitty arrangement all around tbh.

My son sees his dad maybe 2-4 days a month. i am cool with it cause his dad is a misogynistic racist asshole so the less time they spend together the better my son is off
