The way stan accounts and other weirdos on the internet are trying to turn this woman into a celebrity is so strange. She suffered horrific abuse and would’ve benefited from intense therapy instead of something punitive but I’m sorry I can’t get over someone conspiring to commit murder and being able to convince someone else to do it. The way she’s moving right now isn’t the way to go, she should keep a low profile for a while.
The media frenzy and motherification of her seriously makes my skin crawl. I hope she adjusts to life outside. Her story is so heartbreaking. Her mother would have killed her undoubtedly, but the way people talk about it is truly scary.
I'm watching the Curious Case of Natalia Grace and the whole thing has been a fucking rollercoaster between the batshit 'parents' that adopted her and what this poor girl went through as a child.
I couldn't get through the first half of the first episode of that series. I have never, ever, ever wanted to punch someone through a TV screen more than Michael Barnett.
I pre-ordered her book as I’m truly interested in reading it, but I do think it’s weird how people are trying to turn her into a new star or influencer. I hope she sets up her life financially right now, gets further help and treatment that she needs, but making her a celebrity is weird.

I binged Curious Case of Natalia Grace last night- left me gutted.
[Spoiler (click to open)]Even if you can convince yourself she’s 22, she’s just impossibly disabled?!! The Barnetts should rot in jail.
