Gonna be honest, I have 0 faith in any of them managing to do anything other than turning around, squatting, and squeezing literal shit out of their asses for their borderline lobotomized fans to loop play on spotify for 6 weeks straight in order to keep it charting long enough to look like anyone actually likes the foretold "song". I'm being considerably meaner than usual this time, because I thought at least Lisa had some great potential, but every single solo release they've had the past year'ish now has just been so genuinely terrible to me, that I truly wonder if any of them enjoy singing at all anymore. None of them seem to care about their careers. None of them have the burn. The desire, the DRIVE. They don't HUNGER. They always look bored, over it, and like they're just doing the bare minimum to go home with a fresh bag of money. None of them care about their craft. They just want to sit and be handed a hit song by goddamn groundhog's day in the human form, Teddy.

Nah, I completely agree with you. I've been done with them for the last few years because none of them seem happy. My sister said Rose should go be a kindergarten teacher because she looks like she'd be one lol.
I mean tbf lisa’s only other song besides lalisa is money and they were released together lol (and money is better lol) so to say she hasn’t had a jam since then is like .. yeah because they all (except rose) only have 2 solo songs each to their names.
my gf is new to kpop (shes become an ive fan) and had watched blackpink videos but was never impressed. hates their sound too. i showed her 2ne1's mama performance and she went "wow so this is the charisma blinks think blackpink have" and i was like THANK YOUUU when even a newbie can tell!!

in jennie's defense, "you & i" was a special release bc she was performing the song on their tour. it was recorded back when she released "solo" and scrapped in favor of that, so it's not like she just recorded it and it's indicative of where she wants to go musically.

in jennie's defense, "you & i" was a special release bc she was performing the song on their tour. it was recorded back when she released "solo" and scrapped in favor of that, so it's not like she just recorded it and it's indicative of where she wants to go musically.
