ngl I'm already intrigued by the cast. Who is playing Capote himself? (It'll be no small feat to top Philip Seymour Hoffman or Toby Jones.)

Edit cos ONTD Doesn't Read: Tom Hollander as Capote, hmmm... that will be interesting.

Where is that from? I am thinking of his role in this '90s indie queer comedy, Bedrooms and Hallways (featuring an all-star cast: Kevin McKidd, James Purefoy, Jennifer Ehle, Hugo Weaving as Tom's bf, Simon Callow, et al), and he was delightful in that so I have high hopes for him.

I’m definitely going to check that out, sounds perfect.

It’s from 2005’s Pride & Prejudice…I recently got a sticker of that line & slapped it on my ereader lol

You should! It's enjoyable and full of twists and turns, just a very feel-good romcom about the fluidity of sexuality.

I must be one of the few people on earth who still hasn't watched 2005 P&P... at the time I resisted because I felt like it couldn't possibly live up to the BBC miniseries and I disliked Keira Knightley's acting. But now enough time has passed and I'm sort of mellowed out, so maybe I'll give it a watch during the holidays.

I’m like you in that I avoided it for whatever reason. But it’s pretty gorg and intimate. I never watched the BBC version so i’m the reverse that way lol.

I haven't committed his name to memory until just now, when I googled him and said "oh THAT guy," like I always do when I see him in something and realize he's vaguely familiar. He was so perfect as the creepy crawly Mr Collins, that has been his identity to me ever since.
