December 17, 2023 - During the 3 months of dating Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift flew back and forth with her 2 private jets from NYC to Kansas City as well as during her tour where she flew from South American cities to Kansas City/NYC almost every night.
- According to the IG account @taylorswiftjets (which tracks the movement of her jets), her trips produced 138 tons of CO2, the equivalent of the electricity use of 26.9 homes for one year
- It is estimated that she spent a whooping $70,000+ for the gallons of jet fuels used for the trips
- She would need to plant 2,200+ trees and allow them to grow for 10 years to offset her impact
- Last year, TS was crowned "most polluting celebrity of the year"
