Did they do an In Memoriam? Because my interest in soaps died with Billy Miller

They did. Billy was shown.

Frank only mentioned Sonya and Nneka (a producer who passed this year) in his speech, though, omitting the varied GH-related passings (Tyler Christopher, Jackie Zeeman, Billy Miller). GH also hasn't even done an "In Loving Memory" to Billy that I can recall.

No they haven't. Y&R did. Hell, CBS even had a picture of him standing in their lobby soon after. Doesn't exactly help my opinion of ABC/GH

Was Frank nervous or on something? He had such a weird, flat voice when he accepted the award. Maybe if he was nervous he just forgot to mention the others but it was especially sad he didn’t mention Jackie who had been on the show for so many years.

And I was very disappointed in the show for not doing a memory for Billy Miller’s passing.

I don't know if I would say whatever caused Frank to act like that wasn't nerves, personally. He basically looked drunk/drugged.

Nathan Varni, GH’s Exec Director, tweeted recently that he was hoping to regain lost viewership in 2024. So it appears he’s aware that the show has become basically Nepotism Hospital.
I wonder if it meant that he had fired Frank. And that’s why he seems so off during his acceptance speech. Because I swear to god, I’ve never seen anybody less excited to win an award in my fucking life.

frank, like every producer left in daytime, is simply there due to inertia. there is no passion or love for the work, they simply want to get this shit done and on budget so they can go home.

They did and the audience cheered for him. They did the same for a few others.
