I’m not on twitter but the tumblr side of the fandom’s pretty relaxed IMO. Nowhere near that batshit-ery of the Our Flag Means Death fandom.

lol i still remember when the ofmd fandom was just starting out and how much they prided themselves on being not like other fandoms, sane and friendly and everyone getting along etc. ha.

I feel like What We Do In The Shadows, Good Omens, Our Flag Means Death are the new Superwholock.

I just look for gifs and nice art on tumblr and ignore everything else.

Medium. It has a lot of older fans (because of the books) that know how to conduct themselves in fandom spaces, and then some over eager fans that keep asking Neil Gaimen to confirm their headcannons and read their fiction when he has a hard line on doing neither.

although sometimes it's the middle aged fans who are the craziest

i remember there being some superwholock people in that age range who were a bit... overzealous, shall we say?
