I have such a love/hate with You’ve Got Mail. I am not a fan of the actual movie but it has great moments/lines. Unsurprisingly I hate the scene with Sara Ramirez. Not because of them. I just don’t think it’s as cute as everyone thinks it is.

With that! I would actually love a My Best Friend’s Wedding sequel 🙈 I love that movie and Kimmy deserved so much better.

I remember when I first watched it, I was rooting for Julia’s character. In hindsight, Cameron’s character was sweet, kind, and lovely, and Julia’s character was so selfish and awful.

Saaame! I think part of it was I didn’t clock that they were only TWENTY EIGHT and the movie made it seem like you needed to be married by then otherwise you’ll die alone. I am whatever about Julia but I do think she made the character tolerable to me.

And yes! Kimmy was a gem. Sure, she drove like a maniac (everyone lived! Maybe it’s the other drivers who are the problem…) and can’t carry a tune but she seemed to have motivation and naively looked for the best in people.

In the movie they played the cashier at Zabars but they’re also a Broadway actor, was Callie in Greys and most recently played everyone’s new fave, Che Diaz, in the Sex and the City sequel series “And Just Like That”

oh I know the scene you are talking about now. I also agree that Tom Hank's character wasn't that great and its surprising that she ended up with him after he deceived her like that and killed her store lmao. Its a weird story.

If you love/hate You've Got Mail. Try The Shop Around the Corner. It's the same movie, but better. Lol

I’ve seen it and it’s cute but it’s been a minute! And I do love how they reference it in a way in You've Got Mail

Watch In the Good Old Summertime, too! It has Judy Garland and a cameo by baby Liza!

i like the Sara Ramirez scene but hate that they typecast her as like some grocery store foreigner with a heavy indian accent.

but the scene still makes me lol because i hate the pressure of check out lines when an issue comes up.
