Closer was such a nothing of a movie to me. I remember watching it and wondering why it existed. Everyone was unhappy in it. Hardly anything seemed to happen. The timeline stuff just confused me.

Jude looked pretty though, so it had that going on for it.

I remember going to the movies only to see Jude law because he was gorgeous. I don’t remember anything else.

Young Jude Law was next level. So beautiful even his hairline didn’t need to be.

Wasn't it with Portman's pink wig?

Yeah she had a short pink wig on in some scenes.

Same. My friends were obsessed with that movie and I never understood why.

That movie is so weird, I vividly remember loving the cast and Natalie in that pink wig but I immediately forgot what it was even about

Yeah, it was kind of iconic at the time but I don't remember any details about the plot.

Someone said "That movie just made me think that everyone cheats" .. which is understandable since they all did it with such discretion.

For me it's the drama and the dialogue.. just so well written. So raw and real. I felt like I was there.. and I was uncomfortable but in a good way? IDK I love it. And that movie introduced me to Damien Rice, which I'll always be grateful for.

I feel like there was a period of 10 or so years where a lot of movies had a similar “boring married people still FUCK” plot and I found them all obnoxious.

They all sucked but Natalie’s character still ended up being the most honest even though she was lying the entire time.

I liked it because it was a breakdown of relationships and just how much people are willing to put up with in a relationship and also how miserable they were? 🙈 Also, Natalie's character was maybe the biggest WTF because I need more insight on why.
