Just last week, ONTD was shitting on Taika Waititi for saying he did Thor because “I was poor & I’d just had a second child. I thought, ‘this would be a great opportunity to feed these children.’” Without even consulting google, I’m pretty sure that 2015 Taika had a lot less money than 2023 Hugh Grant (and therefore probably needed to do Thor more than Grant needed to do Wonka).
