After months of speculation, YG Entertainment has officially announced that all 4 members of BLACKPINK have renewed their contracts with them for group activities.

I expect zero group activities outside of whatever they're contractually obligated to do, and the rest of the time they'll be solo influencers as per usual.

like one comeback every 18 months or something

then the members will mostly be doing solo projects (acting, modeling, general influencer-ing, maybe a mini album or single here or there)

It really is so funny. I mean, now that they have the chance to have different contracts for solo activities we’ll really see who’s passionate about what.

I genuinely don't think they will change much.

I feel like the got too big and too rich too fast and got complacent and apathetic. Like they don't realy need to try for things happen and people easily absolve them of whatever failure thry may have as not their fault or whatever.

I can see that. However, I feel like Lisa is at the very least passionate about performing and is likely to release a lot of more music if she’s able to do so on her own terms. I can see Rose singing more and Jisoo spending more fee time acting as well. It’s really only Jennie who I can 100% see just doing what she’s already doing.

But that’s probably just wishful thinking on my behalf.
