The OP for some reason didn't include that part. The reason why she's talking now is because of the place she did her community service, it helps women get their life back on track after incarceration, she stayed on after her service was done. She's became part of the board of directors and its their upcoming anniversary and she wants to highlight this foundation.

OP mentioned it but not that it was specifically why FH is doing the interview now.
