when the other option is fighting 500 applicants for a 40-hour a week job that crushes your soul and doesn't even pay enough, I don't blame them. At least with an influencership they can shill shit they enjoy or meet new people.
we have the "nobody wants to work" rhetoric in the US as well, depending on the job, it's either not paying enough, not enough hours on top of that, or companies want to hold out for an imaginary person and hire noone...and then whine no one wants to work anymore.
It's definitely like this in Germany too. Employers just can't handle potential employees having expectations at a work place and not just taking whatever job they might get offered.
And going off my own job search a few years ago, a lot of employers are lacking in the application process already. I don't expect to be invited to an interview for every application I send out. I do however expect to be informed, no matter how brief and copy/pasted the message is, when I am not being considered.
i work around a lot of trade jobs and i've noticed people don't want to work under someone, so everyone will study their trade or apprenticeship and then leave straight away once qualified to open their own business. one got in so much legal shit bc he didn't know how to do anything, he just didn't want to be working for someone else.

That's true and fair; It sucks that making a living any way comes down to luck instead of skill or work ethic.
