- Also some marketing numbers. F1 US viewership is DOWN nearly 9% from last year (and you know what… Liberty Media deserves it). Despite its meteoric social media growth, that hasn’t converted to tangible marketing American dollars. The average race tops out at only 1.0 million viewers. So yeah Toto Wolff, you really need those European viewers
- Okay no one is going out at the start of Q1 unless there was and the TV direction decided to place the camera on the drivers’ partners

- And whew it got finicky with Perez knocking out Sainz

- In Q2, Gasly hits a nice lap topping fourth in the session
- But at the last second Russell knocks out Sir Lewis
- Eliminated: HAM, OCO, STR, ALB, RIC
- Leclerc comes to the pits early after delivering an okay lap that put him at P9. Makes a notable improvement despite his earlier remarks
- Yuki tops P5! Let him have a good race to end the season - but after a quick knockout, he's P6! This will be Franz Tost's last season as Team Principal for AlphaTauri. Laurent Mekies, Ferrari's sporting director, will assume the position in 2024.

Théo Pouchaire (ART Grand Prix, Sauber Academy) edges out Frederik Vesti (Prema Racing, Mercedes Junior Team) in this third season in the series. F2 bars champions from competing in the series again, so no word of where his next seat will be. Honestly either way, what a great season!
