Paul Rudd says he had a “horrible” and “restrictive” diet for playing Ant-Man.
“My reward was sparkling water. That’s how horrible that diet was. I was like, ‘Alright, I can have some sparkling water now, I’ve earned it.’”

It was basically a bad flu with a headache that wouldn’t go away, in my experience.

if I were an actor restricting myself for the sake of a role or what have you I legitimately don't know how little I'd have to weight to "look thin". I have to imagine it's like, getting sent to the hospital territory. no thanks

So I cut sugars and most carbs out of my diet and I already lost the big belly and lost about 15 pounds in 3 months, and I eat everything else, no other changes to my diet.

I tried that when I became serious about losing weight. It worked at the start but then I couldn't lose anymore and I was absolutely miserable.
I kept exercising but I started eating potatoes, rice and bread again in moderation and to my surprise I started losing weight again. The only thing I removed 100% from my diet was sodas and sugary drinks.
What worked for me was focusing on a healthy diet. I stopped analyzing calories, proteins, carbs, fats, etc. I tried to eat less processed food and more home cooked meals. And more plant based, more fermented foods, etc. I lost a little more than 50 pounds and kept it off so far, and I still eat carbs.
One of the hardest things about losing weight is to accept that what works for others doesn't necessarily work for you.

For me, it's dairy. Once I cut it out I end up losing weight and toning up. I love chocolate too much though!!!

Especially because of bread. I love it, not only the flavor but it's part of the culture in my country. It's everywhere, in every corner you feel the smell of fresh bread, in every home, breakfast, tea, etc. It's impossible to avoid and giving it up felt like a punishment.
So I still eat it, and pizza and pastas. But I make it or buy it fresh.
