I saw Saltburn and really disliked it. I despised Promising Young Woman too. Emerald Fennell is a hack who seems to get off on being "shocking" for the sake of it while not actually saying anything of substance.

I didn't like Promising Young Woman so I'm not sure I'll like Saltburn either.

My bestie wants to see it soooo bad and I'm definitely interested bc of the actors involved, plus generally I'll just see anything. But my experience with Emerald Fennel makes me think I will definitely hate it and I don't want to ruin it for my friend by hating it lol.
