Upcoming It Pop Girlie - Tate McRae - performed on SNL for the first time. She performed her viral hit single, "greedy." She also premiered a new song ("grave") off her upcoming second studio album, Think Later.

There was a comment in the post with her music video that was like "It's been a long time since we had a pop girlie who can dance" which is so true, i'm enjoying her stuff for that aspect even though a lot of her moves are like modern versions of Fosse poses. I got excited when she handed off the mic lol

But her baby voice is way annoying, she needs to tone that down. She should aim for a range more like Taylor on Reputation

Yeah everytime I see this type of comment i'm like...Ms. Monet and Ms. Bree Runaway are out here out-dancing and out performing but they're not considered pop, I wonder why.

Tinashe never clicked with me, I would watch her videos and think they were okay but never think about them again. She can definitely dance but i also think it's true she gets lost in her background dancers.

This Tate performance that was more posing than sustained dancing was not mindblowing at all but i can say that i kept was eyes on her the whole time, which is not really something i can usually say about Tinashe
