It's because a lot of people believe she doesn't have the talent nor the charisma to back up her level of fame so they're unable to be impartial about it.
She can’t sing (her lives are pitchy as hell…although I gotta say she has gotten better over the years…but still pitchy and flat in certain parts that she sings) can’t dance…I mean she tries, But that’s also why she has a long ass catwalk as her stage so she can strut around on it like a Victoria’s Secret model.
She writes decent songs but I feel like I would like them more if someone else sang them.
She reminds me of a very charismatic Olive Oil…her (lack-thereof) talents is quite questionable to her fame.
But I bet you wouldn’t heavily lean on it as your only gimmick - which Taylor seems to be doing, nor parodying to be like Tori Amos while banging on a piano.
