I saw people being like "Gen Z just doesn't get September 11th" and I was like maybe, but Gretchen is certainly old enough to remember.

I mean truly the reactions to the attacks shaped a bunch of American leftists and pushed them to be anti-war and hyper critical of their government but I have literally never seen anyone but terrorists be like "Yeah, the attacks were good actually!"
