I feel like after the first one she was mostly over it/outgrew it.

It was a good opportunity to propel her to stardom but she was still an Oscar nom actress before this and was getting much juicier roles that probably were of more interest to her.

I just think she's an inconsistent actor. Katniss is a juicy role that isn't just popular, but one that also came with critical acclaim.

Everything else I’ve seen her in she seems more solid and like she’s enjoying it more. But some of the scenes in the last two were just not it for the character. They had a filler scene of her playing with a a cat and a flashlight. Not particularly a juicy scene imo. The first one was definitely very powerful but they lost a bit of steam and didn’t seem to carry the same impact other big franchises did.
